What it does

Real files on disk

Plain buckets store each object as a file at its own name, so everyday tools read the data directly.
Encryption per bucket

Encrypted buckets use AES-256-GCM. Rotating the master key rewraps a few small files instead of every object.
Zero-copy reads, instant copies

Reads go straight from disk to the network, and copies are kernel-level clones that take no extra space.
Works with any S3 client

Versioning, multipart uploads, presigned URLs, bucket policies and lifecycle rules.

Browse buckets, stream video with seeking, preview PDFs and images, and add viewers as plugins.
Recoverable by design

If the index is ever lost, it is rebuilt from the disks.
